I enjoy scuba diving, motorcycles, and billiards. My family enjoys traveling, shopping, snow skiing, and yard work. My daughter enjoys the internet, buying as opposed to shopping, volleyball, soccer, and snowboarding. Recently, we returned from a trip to Vancouver, BC, Canada. The trip also included Seatle, Washington, which we found very beautiful. We would encourage anyone, that has not yet visited the Northwest should certainly do so.

My wife and I moved to Traverse City, Michigan in the summer of 1979, after graduating from Central Michigan University, and attending law school. Taught speech, personal communications, and theatre at Waverly High School, Lansing, MI. Spent several years as a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Smith. In 1987, my daughter entered our world. In 1989, took a position as a Landman, with White Pine Land Services, Inc., leasing mineral rights for oil and gas exploration companies. Developed a right of way division, providing services to major utility companies, municipalities, and Department of Transportation. White Pine procured easements and rights of way (strips of land) for pipelines, water and sewer lines, overhead powerlines, fiber optics, railroads, and highways, throughout the Midwest. Bought the company in 1997, and created five new ones. One is a title company, providing title insurance, certified abstracts, and real estate closings. Another, provides cellular tower sites throughout the United States, for numberous carriers and tower companies.

Currently, hold designations as a Certified Professional Landman, with the American Association of Professional Landmen; and, as a Senior Right of Way Agent, with the International Right of Way Association. Have a Real Estate Broker's License, and Limited Real Estate Appraisers License with the State of Michigan. In addition, I have a Private Investigator's license; and, I provide investigative services for birth children/parents as a Confidential Intermediary.
